Corey Lockman
Natasha Anderson is an advisor to the International Rhino Foundation and coordinates rhino monitoring for the Lowveld Rhino Trust in Zimbabwe, Africa. She lives in Bubye Valley Conservancy which is home to one of the world's largest populations of Critically Endangered black rhinos. Though born in Australia she has lived in the in the south-east Lowveld of Zimbabwe for 27 years and been heavily involved in rhino conservation for the last 20. In addition to being responsible for the rhino monitoring and management programs in BVC she also helps manage the Lowveld Rhino Trust education program which covers 55 rural schools.
Corey is a member of Wildlife Protection Solutions, which uses technology for the conservation of endangered species and ecosystems. WPS has developed a mobile and desktop app to fight wildlife crime in real-time called wpsWatch. The system uses custom camera traps and software that can detect wildlife threats and prompt an immediate response to active intrusions and illegal activities. IRF will be using a WPS system at the SRS for security.
